INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

Global Academy, Naharlagun, celebrated International Yoga Day with great spirit on 21st of June. The day began with a collective yoga session by students and staff, promoting physical well-being and mental harmony.Following the session, a variety of engaging activities were conducted to mark the occasion. Students from Classes 9 to 12 participated in extempore speeches and an essay competition, showcasing their awareness of yoga and its benefits. Drawing and Ludo competitions were held for Classes 3 to 5, while students from Classes 6 to 8 contributed creative slogans focused on the theme of health and mindfulness.The celebration served as a reminder of the importance of a balanced lifestyle and the holistic benefits of yoga in everyday life. To acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of the students,winners were felicitated with certificates and prizes, encouraging them to continue participating actively in such meaningful events.

79th Independence Day

Global Academy celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15th August 2025 with patriotic spirit. The programme began with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony by the Chairman and Principal, followed by the National Anthem. The event featured a Welcome Song by the primary students, inspiring speeches by the Chairman and Achel Tapo, and a special performance by the Blue House. A colourful dance competition among all four houses added liveliness, showcasing cultural heritage and creativity. The celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Shailesh Sir, appreciating the collective efforts of teachers, students, and staff. The day instilled pride, unity, and a deep sense of commitment to the nation.

Children’s Day

The Children’s Day celebration at Global Academy was filled with joy and enthusiasm. The programme began with a welcome song, followed by inspiring speeches from teachers highlighting the importance of childhood in building a bright future. The teachers entertained students with energetic dance performances, melodious singing, and thoughtful shayari, showcasing their creativity and expressing affection for the young minds. Their performances created a cheerful atmosphere and made the celebration special for everyone. The event concluded with appreciation for the teachers’ dedication and efforts, making Children’s Day at Global Academy a memorable occasion filled with happiness, creativity.

Teacher’s Day

Teacher’s Day was celebrated with immense joy and respect making it a truly memorable occasion for all the educators of Global Academy. On Wednesday, 3rd September 2025, the All Arunachal Private School Association (AAPSA) organized an advance Teacher’s Day programme at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Vivek Vihar, Itanagar. Teachers from private institutions across the city, including our own teachers, gathered to celebrate the day. The event featured fun games for teachers, cultural performances, songs, dances, and a skit presented by the students. A special highlight of the programme was the Teacher’s Award Ceremony to honour outstanding educators, where our very own Mr. Shailesh Yadav from Global Academy was among the awardees. The celebration concluded with a fellowship dinner, leaving every teacher with cherished memories. On 5th September 2025, Global Academy celebrated Teacher’s Day on campus with grandeur and enthusiasm. Teachers were given a warm and special welcome by the students. The programme, included inspiring speeches by the Chairman Sir and the Director of the School. The day was filled with performances by the students, including cultural dance, songs, dances etc which reflected their love and appreciation for their teachers. Fun-filled games like musical chairs, blindfold challenges, and bursting of balloons added laughter and joy to the celebration. The celebrations on both days were a reminder of the vital role teachers play in shaping young minds and building the future.

ANNUAL PICNIC

Global Academy organized a joyful picnic on November 22nd for students from classes 4 to 11 at Dikrong Swimming Pool in Doimukh. The day began with excited students boarding Vehicles early morning, arriving at the resort filled with fun amenities. Everyone enjoyed, outdoor activities, and a shared lunch amidst laughter and bonding. Teachers supervised smoothly, ensuring safety while joining in the merriment. The event wrapped up in the evening with tired but happy faces heading home, creating cherished memories

RESULT DAY 2025

The academic year at Global Academy, Naharlagun began with the celebration of Result Day on 22nd March 2025. A special ceremony was held to honour students who excelled in the academic year 2024, recognising their hard work and dedication. Toppers from Nursery to Class 12 were awarded medals and trophies for their outstanding performance. The event was anchored by a confident Class 10 student and began with a scripture reading, followed by prayer and a solo performance presented by staff members, setting a respectful and uplifting tone. The Director, Principal and Chairman addressed the gathering with motivating speeches, appreciating the efforts of students and teachers. In a special gesture, parents were also invited to speak, expressing their gratitude and sharing words of encouragement. The ceremony was a proud moment for the school community, celebrating excellence and inspiring students to strive for greater achievements in the new academic year.

Environment Day

Global Academy, Naharlagun, observed World Environment Day on 5th June 2025 with great enthusiasm and purpose. The celebration aimed to raise awareness among students about the need to protect and preserve the environment through thoughtful actions and creative expression. As part of the observance, a drawing competition was organized for students from Classes 1 to 8, where young learners illustrated themes related to nature and environmental conservation. For the senior students of Classes 9 to 12, an essay writing competition was conducted, encouraging them to reflect on pressing environmental issues and propose sustainable solutions. In addition to these literary and artistic activities, students actively participated in a tree plantation drive in the school premises. They also engaged in classroom cleaning activities, reinforcing the values of cleanliness, discipline, and collective responsibility. The event was a meaningful reminder of the importance of individual and collective efforts in safeguarding our environment. It concluded with a message encouraging students to adopt eco-friendly practices not just on Environment Day, but throughout the year.

Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony of Global Academy was held on 26th July 2025 with great pride and solemnity. The occasion marked the formal conferring of responsibilities upon the newly elected student council for the academic session, a moment that symbolized trust, leadership, and commitment. Student leaders from Classes 5 to 12, including Head Boy, Head Girl, Vice Head Boy, Vice Head Girl, Class Monitors, House Captains and the House Prefects were formally invested with their badges of office. Each young leader stepped forward with dignity and a sense of purpose to accept their duties, reflecting the ethos of the academy. In her inspiring address, the Principal urged the council members to uphold the values of discipline, humility, and integrity while serving as role models for their peers. The newly appointed Head Boy and Head Girl also delivered earnest speeches, pledging to lead with sincerity and dedication. A significant highlight of the ceremony was the solemn Oath of Office, wherein all the leaders collectively vowed to discharge their responsibilities with honesty and diligence. The event concluded with the National Anthem, filling the gathering with pride and reinforcing the spirit of leadership, service, and commitment that defines Global Academy.
